After School Extension Program

The After-School Extension Program provides professional care, supervision, recreation, and enrichment activities from 3:30 - 6:00 p.m. Students from 3K through 8th experience growth activities which include arts and crafts projects, games, recreation, story time and of course, study.

Students going to the After-School Extension Program will first be able to use their time to do homework quietly and later to play and interact with other students, but if they so choose, they are welcome to continue to work on homework at the tables in the cafeteria.

The Extended Daycare Program is coordinated by Ms. Truhill, who is devoted to providing attention and a safe student environment. It is a supervised atmosphere where all are respected.

Parents or guardians must check their child out of the After-School Extension Program with a member of the staff. If a child is not checked out, parents or guardians will be billed until 6:00 pm that evening. In most cases Extended Daycare bills will be issued the first week of the new month via an email from FACTS and payment is due in full on the 20th of the month. A $25 late fee is charged if payment is not received by the due date. Billing is done on a drop in basis only and is $5 per hour.

Excess charges of $5 per minute will continue to be in effect for those leaving their children after 6:00 P.M. or on the published "No Extension Available" dates.

NOTE: Early release days: 12:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

There is NO after school care on days before a holiday.
